Stories of LGBT Farm Workers and Photo Exhibit
2 – 3:30 pm| Meeting Room D
Presentation of issues that LGBT farm workers face in the Central Valley, as well as a talk about 'En Nuestra Tierra', a collection of oral stories from LGBT farm workers in the San Joaquin and Salinas Valley, and photo exhibit. Presented by Cecilia Arredondo from California Rural Legal Assistance.
RISE UP! A Pride Week Discussion
3 – 4 pm | LGBT Resource Center
Rise Up is a weekly discussion series that is open to everybody and anybody who is interested in talking things out. This is a great way to come and check out the LGBT Resource Center as well as join in on casual discussions that are related to the Queer community.
Pariah Film Screening
6:30 – 8 pm | Multipurpose Room
A world premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, the contemporary drama Pariah is the feature-length expansion of writer/director Dee Rees’ award-winning 2007 short film Pariah. In the film, Adepero Oduye, who had earlier starred in the short film, portrays Alike, a 17-year-old African-American woman who lives with her parents and younger sister in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood. Alike is quietly but firmly embracing her identity as a lesbian. Wondering how much she can confide in her family, Alike strives to get through adolescence with grace, humor, and tenacity – sometimes succeeding, sometimes not, but always moving forward.

Trans Safe Zone Training

Re-Imagining Queer Indigenous Bodies

Members of the Native American community on campus and allies are invited to participate in a night of artistic expression in celebration of Queer Indigenous bodies
Intersections of Queer & Gender Identity Panel
7 – 8:30 pm | Meeting Room D
Meet a student panel that will discuss issues and experiences regarding gender presentation, gender identity, and gender performance. This community panel with Q&A will explore the intersections of identities such as gender identity and queer identity.
Wednesday April 11th
Queering Relationships
12 – 2 pm | Meeting Room E
There is often some confusion about how queer relationships function and what they look like. Misconceptions and stereotypes around intimate queer relationships both within the queer community and outside run rampant. Come join us for an engaging and fun panel discussion and Q&A on the topic and learn a more about different types of queer relationships. A better understanding of difference will create more open and safe spaces for multiple relationship expressions.
Crafternoon!

What says pride better than a custom-designed hot-beverage mug? Join us for this special Wednesday Crafternoons - decorate a mug that you can use for years to come! We'll provide all the supplies, you provide your unique constellation of identities and celebratory pride!!

Closed Group for People with STIs

As queer people, our bodies and what we do with them are very policed. For those of us who have Sexually Transmitted Infections, or STIs, this can either be damaging to our spirit or extremely humbling and transformative. We have to relearn how to navigate our sexuality. This closed group seeks to provide a space for queer people with STIs to share our experiences and learn from each other, to heal, and to create a network of support.
Pride Week Performance Night & Open Mic

Come for a night of performances such as spoken word, dances, song and music, and poetry/floetry.

Unleash Your Swag With Your Inner Drag Dance Party
9 pm – 1 am | Delta of Venus
Featuring DJ Oddjob, DJ Xyphl, and DJ Purr. Come dressed in your finest drag for a night of dancing, fun, and a raffle with prizes from local businesses! Cover will be a $3 – $7 sliding scale to support the UC Davis Queer Student Union.
