The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center presents the 13th Annual Lavender Graduation! It is being held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 6pm at the Rec Pool Lodge. If you are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, genderqueer, gender nonconforming, intersex, queer, same gender loving, two spirit or an ally who is graduating we would like to recognize your great achievement. Please register by May 15, 2009.

Safe Zone sessions being offered during Spring Quarter:
- Transgender Safe Zone, Thursday, April 23rd, 12-2pm (registration deadline April 16th)
- Safe Zone, Monday, May 4th, 1-4pm (registration deadline April 27th)
- Safe Zone, Wednesday, May 20th, 5-8pm (registration deadline May 13th)

Safe Zone is a three hour workshop designed to raise awareness and discuss ways to make the spaces we live and work in more welcoming and safe for LGBTIQ people. After completing the training, you have the option of receiving a sign to designate your space as a Safe Zone.
Transgender Safe Zone is a training created to raise awareness and understanding about gender identity and issues faced by Transgender people.
Yolo County Health Department offers free, anonymous HIV antibody testing to UC Davis students at the LGBT Resource Center on scheduled days. The test is “rapid”, which means that results only take 20 minutes, and is an oral swab (no blood needed!). The LGBT Resource Center is located on campus at the University House Annex accross from Voorhies Hall.
